Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

The short version

Your cycle data — period dates, duration, flow intensity — is stored only in your browser's localStorage. It never reaches our servers. We have no access to it. Clearing your browser data deletes it permanently.

What data is stored locally in your browser

When you use the Period Tracker, the following information is saved to your browser's localStorage under the key periodHistory:

  • Period start dates
  • Period duration in days
  • Flow intensity (light, medium, heavy)
  • A numeric ID for each entry (a JavaScript timestamp)

This data does not leave your device. We cannot read, access, or delete it. It is under your full control.

What data is collected by the website

Analytics (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics (Google tag ID: G-QTSYQ72RCT) to understand aggregate traffic — how many people visit, which pages are popular, and which devices they use. Google Analytics collects anonymised IP addresses, browser type, operating system, and page views. It does not collect your cycle data. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.

Advertising

This site displays advertisements from third-party ad networks (including Adsterra/HighPerformanceFormat and ProfitableRateCPM). These networks may use cookies and browser identifiers to serve relevant ads and measure ad performance. Your cycle data is completely separate from any advertising system and is never shared with ad networks.

Ad networks may collect: IP address, browser fingerprint, cookie identifiers, and pages visited. You can opt out of interest-based advertising through your browser's privacy settings or via the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out tool.

Cookies

We do not set first-party cookies. Third-party ad networks and Google Analytics may set cookies. You can control cookie settings in your browser's privacy preferences. Blocking cookies will not affect the core period tracking functionality, which uses localStorage.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child under 13 has used this service, please contact us.

Data retention and deletion

Your cycle data persists in your browser's localStorage until you clear it. To delete your data: open your browser settings → clear site data / browsing data → select "Cookies and site data" for this domain. This is the only way to erase your period history.

Your rights

Since we do not receive or store your cycle data, we cannot fulfil data access or deletion requests for that data — it exists only in your browser. For any analytics or advertising data processed by third parties (Google, ad networks), you can exercise your rights by contacting those providers directly or using their opt-out tools.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
